Re-Draft — where publication is the prize

PosterEnter this year’s Re-Draft competition

This is your chance to get your talent recognised in a book that will be read all over New Zealand and provide inspiration to others.

Entry is free, and the form can be found the previous title in the Re-Draft series, The world's steepest street.

Re-Draft has published brilliant work by hundreds of young New Zealand writers, many of them building a fine portfolio over several years.

How to enter:

  1. Find The world's steepest street in your school, polytechnic, university or public library, or in your English department. Check out the quality of the writing to make sure you’re on the right track.
  2. Photocopy the entry form from the back of the book.
  3. Read the guidelines carefully. Length must be suitable for inclusion in an
    anthology.
  4. Don’t forget to give your entries great titles. You might win the title of the
    year competition.
  5. Send your entry before the closing date: now extended to 7 October 2011.
