LYFE - Linwood Youth Festival Experience

2003 - crowds at the festivalGuess who's back? L.Y.F.E we're back…

Its that time of year again time to celebrate the achievements of local Youth from around the Linwood area. We are continuing our high standards of tradition by bringing back favourite activities like the sumo suits and waterslide for younger and sometimes older members of the family. We have a wide variety of stalls with information for all. When your tummy starts rumbling and all you can think about is food we've thought of that too and have tried to achieve food stalls that can offer anything from Hangi to Hot dogs.

BreakWhile you're enjoying the activities, stalls and food or just hanging out we have some amazing local school groups and bands to perform. This year's line up includes culture groups from schools in and around Linwood. We have Kornastone, Microphone Lordz, Rakatahi, Que, Falter, Polycarp, Vivaldi Junior, F.U.S.A and Pacific Underground performing throughout the day.

If this sounds like something you're into come on down to Linwood Park on Novemeber the 2nd 2003 from 11am through till 4.00pm If the weather turns crazy the event will take place the following Sunday.

The L.Y.F.E festival is a unique event that celebrates Youth Achievement in Liwood and the wider community. It is an annual event that has a huge Youth input with a focus on bringing families and the wider community together. The Kaupapa is to develop pride and build strong and positive relationships between Linwood Youth and their community, by profiling local youth achievement while offering the opportunity for information sharing.
