AFFIRM Aranui

AFFIRM is a family festival organised by ACTIS. It takes place every December at Wainoni Park in Hampshire Street, Christchurch. The local community sets out to celebrate and share its talents with the rest of Christchurch.

10 AFFIRM — the 2011 festival kicked off at 9.30am on Saturday 3 December with a haka.

The festival had great food, family fun and standout music . This year’s headline acts was Ladi6, R&B singer and rapper.

Christchurch City Libraries at AFFIRM

Christchurch City Libraries staff like to go to AFFIRM. They promoted resources, gave away well-loved library books and answered questions about Aranui Library progress.

The mobile team encouraged new members to join up on the day, and the Plains FM recording POD was available for people to donate their earthquake stories.
