She’s stoked to win the prize!
Penny likes to write in her spare time.
Her favourite subject at school is Spanish.
She was going to enter the Re-Draft competition but left it too late, and came across an advert for the Pulse competition in the School of Writers magazine.
Her advice to other young writers? ‘Once you get an idea in your head, write it down’.
She’s off to Chile next year for a six month exchange.
Her local library is Spreydon, and she’s especially keen on getting out CDs. Her favourite band is Secret and Whisper.
Her fave book? Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah.
